About Me

I’m a social entrepreneur, product manager, community leader, climate justice activist, and organizer with a track record of building momentum in various hats at high-growth, mission-driven startups. I have experience building communities, organizations, and thoughtful technology to build progressive and sustainable social change. I’m currently seeking opportunities to build an organization leveraging technology for climate justice, ideally working on solutions for improving social equity while decarbonizing our economy.

I was most recently the Business & Product Development Associate for Civic Technology at Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company incubating technology for improving quality of life in cities. On Sidewalk's civic innovation team, I led product strategy, design, and prototyping for a new digital toolkit for civic participation in urban planning and real estate development.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve been a lead organizer for a 4000+ member mutual aid network in my neighborhood working on food access/sovereignty for thousands of Black & Brown neighbors, which has helped me realize that my passion for solving our climate crisis is less about infrastructure in the built environment (most of our focus at Sidewalk Labs), and more about vehicles to build political and economic power for disenfranchised communities to live in an equitable, sustainable world.

Prior to Sidewalk Labs, I was a Product Manager at Levelset, a New Orleans-based software startup that empowers fair payment in the construction industry. As the team's third product hire, I discovered the potential for product development to help solve systemic problems at scale, and cut my teeth scaling a high-growth company. I helped drive user acquisition, adoption, and retention through product-led growth as the company reached 100% year-over-year revenue growth, grew from 40 to 180+ employees, and raised over $15M in venture funding.

My time in New Orleans was part of my Venture for America fellowship, a program for new graduates to help create economic opportunity in American cities with emerging entrepreneurial ecosystems. My experiences in New Orleans and other great cities inspires me to build people-centered technology that scales solutions for social justice, environmental sustainability, and thriving communities.

I studied politics at the University of Virginia. In college, I learned the ropes on sales, marketing, operations, business strategy, and non-profit administration while helping to build 2 premiere entrepreneurship support organizations in Charlottesville, VA: Forge (fka HackCville) - a maker space/education program/community for entrepreneurs, and Tom Tom Founders Festival - a cross discipline, multi-venue experience that empowers entrepreneurs, innovators, and civic leaders who are defining the future.

I hail from the Washington DC area and come from a big, loving Filipino family that has inspired me to work hard, stay grounded, and always find a reason to smile. I love gardening, writing, travel, event planning, and hosting friends and family in Brooklyn.
